that I get LASIC.
I have been blind (or nearly) for 29 years. I am incredibly nearsighted and have funky shaped corneas. This all leads to the fact that I can't see; not even the alarm clock next to my head in the morning.
I have chickened out on the surgery 3 times already.
I am going today.
Nana Judy is driving, Paint boy is codependent on the chickening out. He is out.
I am scared to death.

Good luck! I had it done and then did the enhancement to get it perfect. I was like you - totally blind. You will be so happy when you are walking around and realize you don't need your glasses to see. It really is amazing. And thank God for Nana Judy - my mom, Nina, is the same way.... totally rocks!
Don't be scared! It's amazing! I had it done a month ago and it was seriously the best thing I've ever done. I was BLIND too and am now seeing 20/15! Plus no contacts or glasses to deal with...it's heaven.
Good luck!!! I want to get it done myself. I'm looking forward to hearing your update.
Hope it went well. I had it done last yearand had to have Lasek. That's the one you have to be off work for a week, pain pills,etc.,etc. I was so scared but I totally love it not. it took me awhile to stop reaching for my glasses. It was at least six months.
Good luck...I want to do it too but I have been a chicken. Can't even manage to schedule an appt. to chicken out of! I have worn glasses then contacts since I was in the 3rd grade...a long, long time ago. I can't wait to hear what you say about it.
I hope you are recovering well and can look at the computer screen soon...spoken from a true blogger...
WHAT HAPPENED? YOU ARE LEAVING US HANGING!
