While working at the school today, (its wrapping paper time!) I stopped and had lunch with J. He has a phenomenal teacher and a great class. There are 10 boys in his class and 7 girls. The girls are very quiet and the boys are super charming. They are hilarious and I was having a good time getting to know them...
until...
from the other end of the table...
I hear...
"EEEWWWW!!! That's GROSS!"
"He just licked his SHOE!"
"And not the top, he licked the bottom of his shoe!"
Why, you might ask, would a child lick the bottom of his shoe?
"Just to see how it tasted."

So I saved a note from Big Brother's teacher when he was in the 3 year old class last year. It said this, "*** Went to time-out for licking the table with his tongue." This will be placed in his scrapbook to enjoy for years to come! :)
And you wonder why he was wondering what it tastes like--I wonder what that candy bar tastes like, but the bottom of my shoe....hmmmm. Never wondered that.
Boys! You wonder what goes through their heads! I love when I ask mine why he does things and he says "just because?" I can't wait to tell him all the gross things he did.
By the way...ready for some Gator football??? I love me some Tim Tebow :)
Ewwwwwwww.....but as a former teacher I can soooo see a boy that age doing that!
